Sky Bars - Sky Bar Guide
The world's best Sky Bars and Rooftop Bars
Sky Bars are becoming very popular all over the globe. Tourists and business travelers
alike enjoy the amazing views that are offered. Is there a better place to hang out after sightseeing or
work? Not really and it is romantic too, of course.
Rooftop Bars vs. Sky Bars
As the name suggests rooftop bars are usually located at
the roof of a building, usually on hotel rooftops. In many cases a swimming pool can also be found there,
as rooftop bars are usually located outside under the open sky.
Sky bars are sometimes exactly the same, but they can also be located on floors beneath the roof top. The main
difference is however that at least some part of the sky bar is usually located inside.
Location of Sky Bars
Sky bars are usually located at or close to a top of a building. Mostly they are found in
hotels. A few are also located on non hotel high rise buildings such as TV towers. Usually hotel
sky bars can be accessed by everyone, meaning that attendance is not limited only to hotel
guests.
What do Sky Bars offer their guests?
Besides the spectacular view they all offer beverages of all kinds including
cocktails. That can make the view even more enjoyable. In most sky bars you will also have at least some
dining options, while others serve their best menus.
What do Sky Bars cost?
Most sky bars will not
charge a fee for entering the premises. But you should expect to pay more than in other bars nearby. As with
everything else in life, good things have their price tag. But even with a smaller budget you
should not miss those very special places, you could just stay a little shorter or sip your drink
slower.
The World's Highest Sky Bar
Currently the world's highest sky bar can be found in Shanghai. 100 Century Avenue (its name and
location) is in the 92nd floor of the Park Hyatt Hotel and offers a spectacular view. You will
aslo find the world's highest restautrant on the 91st floor.
As sky bars can be found all around the world we want to present you the best ones not
restricted to a continent, but really the most enjoyable ones.
